The program is designed as a pathway into employment, not simply a qualification. Work placement provides participants with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills directly to employers, build industry connections and gain valuable workplace experience. The project has been developed with employer engagement and recruitment opportunities in mind. Participants will also receive wrap-around support throughout the program, helping them overcome barriers, stay engaged in training, build confidence and prepare for employment.

Grow With Us is a supported training and employment pathway designed to help people gain the qualifications, practical experience and confidence needed to begin a career in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.
Participants will work towards their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, supported by foundation skills that build workplace communication, literacy, numeracy and digital capability.

The program is designed to support people who may be unemployed, underemployed, returning to the workforce or looking for a new career pathway, including young people, mature-age job seekers, women returning to work and other priority job seekers.

Practical Skills
Develop practical skills for working in Early Childhood Education and Care
Opportunity
Learn about child safety, health and wellbeing, workplace requirements and professional practice
Expand Network
Complete 160 hours of practical work placement in an Early Childhood service, providing valuable hands-on industry experience.
Bonus Training
Participants will also receive wrap-around support throughout the program, helping them overcome barriers, stay engaged in training, build confidence and prepare for employment.
Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
The program is being run by Five Bridges in partnership with Look Now Training RTO#31827 and Strategix RTO #31418. This training is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government through its Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative.
Queensland residents
To participate, individuals must be residents of Queensland.
Eligible age
Individuals who are eligible to participate must be at least 15 years old.
Citizenship Status
Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident (humanitarian entrant), temporary resident with appropriate visas and work permits on a pathway to permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen.

- CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
- Certificate of attainment in Skills for Work & Vocational Pathways
(Please note that this program does not provide the full CII FSK qualification. Our program focuses on 8 key units aligned with critical skills identified by employers for new employees) - Bonus Police Check and Blue Card paid
